How you'll wear it

Any of these rings can be worn either way: as a cock ring / cock & ball ring around the base of the shaft, or behind the balls and over the top base of the shaft. Choose the size for how you'll wear it.

How to measure

Use a piece of string, or a strip of paper. Measure while you are flaccid or semi-erect, at the place the ring will sit.

  1. Decide how you'll wear it.
  2. Wrap the string snugly, not tight. For a cock ring / cock & ball ring, wrap the base of the shaft, or take it behind the balls and over the top base of the shaft.
  3. Mark where the ends meet.
  4. Lay the string flat and measure that length in millimetres. That number is the circumference.
  5. Divide by 3.14. That is the inner diameter.
  6. Pick the nearest standard size. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
circumference in mm, then ÷ 3.14
The length between the marks is the circumference. Divide it by 3.14 for the inner diameter.

Steel does not stretch. The ring should never feel tight, and you should be able to put it on and take it off without forcing it. If you already own a ring that fits the same way, match its inner diameter.

Wearing a steel ring

Put it on while you are flaccid or only partly erect. A little water-based lubricant helps it slide. Skip a numbing lubricant. You need to feel if the ring is too tight. A cock ring / cock & ball ring is the same ring. The larger sizes are the ones usually worn around both.

Do not wear it for more than 20–30 minutes at a time, and never sleep in it. Take it off at once if you feel pain or numbness, if the skin feels cold, or if the colour changes, including pale or blue.

If it will not come off, stay calm. Add more lubricant. A cool cloth can ease swelling. A steel ring cannot be cut off at home. If it still will not come off, get medical help. This is not a medical device. If you have a circulatory condition, take blood thinners, or have erectile concerns, talk to a doctor before you use one.
